Principal Engagement Lead

Perfa is actively interviewing for Principal Engagement Lead roles in our perfaPXM and perfaMERCH practice areas. On behalf of our fast-moving clients in retail, grocery, food + beverage, luxury and consumer goods, be flawless….
You’re the consummate professional: part client advocate, part industry disruptor, part solution architect, part delivery team anchor, all success-driven. You’ve cut your teeth on the good, the bad and the ugly of PIM, MDM, PLM and digital merchandising implementations, but you’re not jaded. Instead, you’re energized by the possibilities, and pragmatic to the core. You innately understand the why and how of data science, content quality, product eCatalog, supply chain and creative workflow, and local/global/marketplace commerce channels.
Principal Engagement Leads are experts in their wheelhouse and in Perfa solutions – you’re viewed as a collaborative partner by both our clients and our crews. You’re equally comfortable communicating with business executives, data operations, digital teams and IT. And you’re the heart of the perfaCREW on our client engagements.

Apply your knowledge of technology, operations, client’s industry, organization and strategic business priorities to inform and apply Perfa solutions; add intrinsic value and achieve our clients’ most important goals
Exhibit highly-developed consultative skills built upon active listening and feedback, resulting in clarification and confirmation of client needs
Participate in proposal efforts including project approach, solution design, resource planning, and cost estimation
Lead engagements by driving outcomes and delivering against strategic priorities to guarantee Fortune 1000 client expectations are met, while managing and cultivating a highly performing perfaCREW team
Provide quality oversight on deliverables prepared by the perfaCREW project team before submitting to client
Serve as the liaison between internal/external teams, and keep all parties well informed of relevant project plans, decisions, actions, issues and risks; ability to expertly navigate conflict between client and internal teams and partners
Participate in market-leading thought pieces, case studies, conference presentations, etc.
Qualifications + Skills:
10+ years’ professional experience in consulting and program management; Bachelor’s degree and MBA preferred
Experience in more than one of the following solution ecosystems: PIM/MDM (EnterWorks, Stibo, Hybris, etc.); DAM and/or Content Management (Adobe, Bynder, Widen, etc.); PLM (WindChill, etc.); data enrichment and aggregation (GS1 GDSN, Gladson, Kwikee, Label Insight, etc.); syndication and marketplace publishing (Amazon, Google Retail, Walmart, Salsify, 1WorldSync, Syndigo, Pinterest, Instagram, etc.)
Leading-edge understanding of new and emerging technologies and their potential application to target client objectives (AI-based intelligence, logistics and customer engagement, chatbots, voice-based device search and commerce, blockchain transparency, geofencing, etc.)
Organized and structured written, visual and oral communications, with an ability to level the communications appropriately for the target audience (from internal team communications to C-level client presentations)
Skilled in financial and contractual management
Able to motivate, develop and inspire our perfaCREWs to maximize their impact on the client's business and realize their professional potential as a team and individually

Primary Location: Remote, US-based, within easy driving distance of a major airport.
Travel: Yes, 25%-35% is likely between client engagements, pre-sales and conference events.
